| Q. Should my hair be wet or dry when you arrive? A. We prefer that your hair be completely dry and not freshly washed. Skipping a day of shampooing increases the hair’s porosity therefore making it easier to set and style. Hair in this condition holds longer in an up-do also. Q. Do I need to provide any tools or products? A. No. We bring everything needed to provide your services. If special products are needed due to sensitivities or allergies we strongly suggest that you bring them with you or discuss this with us in advance so that we may try to accommodate you as best as we can. Q. How long do your services take? A. Please allow 45-60 minutes per service per person. We will make sure that we properly coordinate our time of arrival with the time that you wish to be ready. We suggest that you leave yourself at least a half hour window to get dressed and do last minute things comfortably before you have to leave for the ceremony. Q. How far in advance should I have waxing or facials done? A. Please DO NOT have any type of these services performed within 5 days of your wedding. This includes hair removal of any type, masks, facials, etc. These treatments can often be quite invasive and leave the skin red, swollen, and irritated…none of which you want on your wedding day. Q. Can you cover scars or tattoos? A. We do have special make-up products that are designed for paramedical coverage. As long as the area is relatively small and easy to cover, we can do it for you at no extra charge. Please let us know before hand if you do require this so that we may allow extra time in your service schedule. Q. How long should I expect my hair and make-up to last? A. We believe that special occasion hair be not only beautiful but durable. We use only professional-grade products that are designed to last until you are ready to take your hair down. Our make-up is also specially formulated to be long lasting and very low maintenance. Q. What is the difference between traditional and air-brush make-up? A. Traditional make-up consists of what you are probably already used to when using cosmetics: liquid, creme, or powder applied with sponge, fingertips, and brushes. Only professional grade products are used. Air-brush make-up is applied by misting specially formulated liquid make-up onto the skin using a patented technology that is sought after world wide. This technique was designed specially for professional media such as film, print, and television and has a remarkable finish and texture. It is highly durable and maintenance free. It does not transfer onto clothes or skin, yet is easily removed with your usual cleanser when your night is over. If you have never experienced air-brush make-up, take advantage of it on your wedding day. It is a fun, comfortable, and memorable alternative that looks beautiful in still photography as well as video. NOTE: All products, traditional and air-brush, are noncomodiogenic, nonacnegenic, allergy tested, and not tested on animals. They contain only the highest quality ingredients and we have been thoroughly trained in their proper use and application. Q. Do you charge extra for travel? A. No. We are happy to come to you anywhere in the Las Vegas valley at no extra charge. If you are not familiar with Las Vegas, please contact us and we can tell you if your venue falls within our service area. Q. How far in advance should reserve your services? A. It’s never too soon to start making plans for such an important day. To ensure that we will be able to accommodate you, please book with us as soon as possible. We do require a credit card number to hold a date but nothing will be charged to your account until your wedding day, when you can also choose to pay with cash. Q. Will I get charged a fee if I postpone or cancel? A. No. We do not feel it is appropriate to charge you for a service you did not receive. Things sometimes happen that are beyond our control, but in such a case, we trust that you will notify us with changes as soon as they happen. Therefore, we can make corrections to our schedule and be better able to accommodate you and other brides more effectively. |
