-Farah Carter-

Farah Carter

Farah's infatuation with makeup, hair, and fashion started at a very early age. Some of her first memories include rifling through her mom's vanity for lipstick and earrings. Her passion grew beyond just childhood dress-up. By eighteen, Farah was working for a leading cosmetics company and it didn't take her long to discover that she had found a career within the cosmetics industry. She spent a decade in sales, creative development, and training for two cosmetic giants which gave her the knowledge and experience to start a different chapter in their career as a freelance makeup artist. Farah soon added hair and fashion styling to her repertoire and has been a huge success ever since. She's worked with local, national, and international celebrities doing film, print, television, and live media. She was recently chosen to appear on Lifetime's reality makeup competition show "Blush" where she and eight other contestants battle for $100,000 and a one year contract with Max Factor Cosmetics.

She feels fortunate that she skills loves what she does for a living and that she looks forward to going to work everyday. Her career also gives her freedom to choose which projects she wants to be a part of, which allows her to make time for her number one priority, her 5 year old son Drake, who is her biggest inspiration and best friend. "I consider what I do for a living more of a creative outlet than a job, it just doesn't get much better than that!"
